Real Stories, Real Impact
SETU Program
Designed to bridge adolescence to adulthood, SETU equips thousands of rural adolescents, especially girls, with essential life skills, health education, financial literacy, and community engagement. It fosters self-confidence, challenges gender biases, and inspires adolescents to dream bigger while pursuing education and careers free from societal constraints.
SAPHL (Sanitation Access Program for Hygiene Literacy)
This program goes beyond eliminating open defecation. It builds safe, accessible sanitation facilities such as toilets, especially for girls. It promotes sustainable hygiene practices, menstrual health management, and creates safe spaces that enhance dignity, health, and school attendance. SAPHL addresses the critical intersections of sanitation, health, and gender equality.
Education Initiative (Rakesh Jain Madhyamik Vidyamandir)
EmpowHER India’s education program at RJMV ensures children in underserved villages have access to quality education by removing systemic barriers. Through IBT, community involvement and leadership development, a supportive learning environment is created that empowers marginalised groups to thrive academically.
EmpowHER India’s greatest achievement is the transformation of mindsets, fighting against menstrual poverty, early marriage, and social exclusion with compassion and persistence.
